John has over 30 years’ experience as a commercial and property lawyer in both New Zealand and Australia. At White Fox and Jones, he specialises in commercial leasing, trusts and property law as well as agribusiness.
John has practised both in NZ and Australia.
As well as practising law, John has farmed beef cattle in Port Levy and Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula. His rural background underlies his down-to-earth and pragmatic style, which is highly valued by his clients. As his farm is now leased out, he predominantly works as a consultant to White Fox & Jones and is in our Christchurch office most of the week.
John is married with 4 children. He enjoys most sports, particularly golf and tennis, and plays regularly at his local golf club in Charteris Bay.
