Stuart is an insurance law and commercial contracts & dispute specialist.
He’s known for his expertise in contract negotiation and his focus on reaching commercial resolutions for clients in situations where contract disputes arise.
With a wealth of both international and domestic experience in commercial property and contract law, Stuart’s strong negotiation skills are a result of his previous successes working with a range of clients and industries.
Since joining White Fox & Jones in 2012, Stuart is proud to have helped both commercial and residential claimants towards settlement of claims totaling in excess of $250m arising as a consequence of earthquakes. Paired with his complementary strengths in litigation and other dispute resolution mechanisms, Stuart is focused on securing the best possible result for his clients.
Outside of work, Stuart and his wife Penny are active coaches and supporters in the lives of their three teenage children – all avid members of multiple sports teams and clubs. A keen outdoorsman, you’ll often find Stuart out on the water. When he’s not sailing, fishing or water-skiing, he’s taking advantage of the slopes with a spot of snow-skiing.
